La Promesa debuted at the IPCPR / PAC exhibition in July 2019. The name of the cigar (from Spanish – The Promise), symbolizes the promise that there will be success that Don Pepin García (founder of My Father Cigars) made to his family when he emigrated from his native Cuba. With a classic look typical of the brand and uncompromising craftsmanship. The filler and binder tobacco is a blend of Corojo, Criollo and Habano, aged at least two years, grown on the Garcia family’s plantations in Nicaragua. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro, which gives a natural sweetness and soft chocolate undertones. Medium strength cigar, smooth opening with dominant aromas of white pepper, nuts and cedar.
